Hi, I’m Hayley Carter, the proud owner of Laser Lounge Sidmouth. My journey in the beauty industry began in 2009, but in 2018, I took a break to focus on being a mum. When my son started nursery, I knew it was time to return to work—but I wanted to do something that truly made a difference.

During lockdown, I retrained as a laser therapist, dedicating time to researching the best laser technologies. I discovered Skyncare, a leader in the field, and underwent extensive training on their advanced laser systems. Today, I’m fully qualified, insured, and committed to providing safe, effective treatments that transform my clients’ confidence.

Why Laser?

Being of mixed English and Indian heritage, I’ve always struggled with dark, thick hair—something that made me incredibly self-conscious. I spent years covering up, avoiding clothes that exposed my arms and legs, and constantly battling hair removal routines. When I finally invested in laser treatments, it was truly life-changing.

Not only did it free me from the time-consuming, costly, and never-ending cycle of shaving and waxing, but it also gave me back my confidence. Having experienced the emotional and physical transformation firsthand, I’m passionate about helping others on their journey to feeling comfortable in their own skin.
